Music Promotion

In 2014, Thalia worked for 3 months, full time, for Meoko, an online magazine which promotes electronic music and events.

During this experience, Thalia’s role was as the main writer and being in charge of scouting for articles, interviews with DJs, artists as well as editing the written pieces of fellow interns.
Additional tasks included administrating the web page’s content in regards to her work as well as managing their appearance on social media.

Communication was of key importance especially for interviews in order to create a more fluid dialogue when it was not possible to be in the same room with an artist.
Conversing through emails or Skype was also crucial to ensure both the manager and the costumer was satisfied with the written and visual outlook of the promotional material.
